Dantoin(R) DCDMH is an industrial bleaching agent based on dimethyl hydantoin. This product finds application wherever solid bleach is desired. It is used as a mild chlorinating agent in organic synthesis.It is also used as a sanitizer in swimming pools, laundries restaurants, cutting oils and pharmaceutical industry as a general cleaner. Other uses include it is been used as a preventer and catalyst in polymer industry, used to emboss or texturize resinous sheet preparations.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. Notes
Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Incompatible with reducing agents, acids, strong bases, organic materials, powdered metals. Moisture, light, air sensitive. Stable, but a strong oxidizer.
