A thymidine analog used in cell proliferation studies

BrdU in culture is incorporated into the DNA during DNA synthesis. Cellular incorporation of BrdU can be detected by anti-BrdU specific antibodies following membrane permeabilization through flow cytometry or immunohistochemistry.

  • Free of preservatives; handle under aseptic conditions
  • Provided as five vials, each containing 0.5mL of a 10mg/mL solution diluted in 1X DPBS
