CaptureSelect CH1-XL Magnetic Agarose Beads are high-capacity, high-throughput magnetic affinity particles for antibody purification using manual or robotic magnetic separators. The CaptureSelect CH1-XL affinity ligand recognizes the CH1 domain of human IgG, enabling purification of all subclasses (1, 2, 3, and 4) of human IgG and Fab fragments, independent of the light-chain isotype and source material. Due to selectivity for the CH1 domain, no co-purification of free light chains will occur. IgG and Fab fragments can be directly isolated from complex source materials in a single step with high purity and yield.

  • One-step human IgG purification with high purity, from crude material
  • Compatible with manual and automated workflows (e.g., Thermo Scientific KingFisher instruments)

  • Mild elution at pH 4
  • No sample dilution required during isolation, repetitive sample loading feasible
  • No binding to bovine antibodies, allowing use of fetal bovine serum in the sample material
  • Non-animal-derived

Free of animal components

CaptureSelect products contain affinity ligands based on recombinant single-domain antibody fragments (VHH) created by a proprietary technology. The VHH affinity ligand is a 12 to 15 kDa fragment comprising the three complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) that form the antigen-binding domain, efficiently produced in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae by a production process free of any animal components (Animal Origin-Free).
