Beskrivning

Products undergo a variety of tests to determine functionality and toxicity using growth-promotion analysis. Corning™ cellgro™ DMEM/Ham's F-12 Mix support cell culture growth and substitution of Pyridoxine HCl for Pyridoxal ensures improved stability over original formulation.

  • Modification of Basal Medium Eagle (BME) containing four-fold concentrations of the amino acids and vitamins found in BME
  • Original formulation was used to culture embryonic mouse cells
  • Has been modified to support variety of normal and transformed cells, such as primary cultures of mouse and chicken cells
  • Formulations can differ in amount or absence of components such as glucose, sodium pyruvate, sodium bicarbonate and L-glutamine
  • Tested to determine pH and osmolality
  • Low levels of endotoxin, and absence of contamination
  • Tested for bacterial endotoxin using the Limulus Amoebocyte Lysate (LAL) Chromogenic Assay
  • Ham's F-12 media is based on Ham's F-10 medium with increased concentrations of choline, inositol, putrescine, and several amino acids
  • Mycoplasma: Tested Negative
