Fistreem International™ Cyclon Ultrapure Water Still

Cyclon ultrapure water stills are designed to surpass accepted purity and performance levels of traditional systems. Of particular interest to users in life sciences, the pyrogen free distillate is of the very highest purity. The still's unique condenser vapour trap creates a cyclonic effect eliminating any vapour borne droplets, thereby preventing carry-over in the distillate.Outputs of 4L/hr and 8L/hr single distilled and 4L/hr double distilled are offered. The high quality borosilicate glassware houses very durable, silica sheathed, heating elements. Protection of the heaters by thermistor control and a thermal fuse allows unattended safe operation. Auto reservoir controls automatically switch off the still on a full reservoir. The stills are supplied ready for connection to a mains tap supply and will provide high quality pyrogen free water, even on the hardest feed water supplies. The boiler contents are drained automatically on switch off to reduce the rate of scale formation. The still has a clean facility which simplifies and semi-automates the descaling process.
Treated feed option
Where preferred, Cyclon stills may be fed with a suitable quality pre-treated water to reduce or eliminate the need for periodic cleaning. In this condition the condenser water (tap feed) is separated from the boiler water (treated feed) for economy. Cyclon stills are supplied with pre-treated feed components which are easily fitted by the user to allow treated water to be delivered directly to the boiler. In this condition controls ensure the treated feed water is automatically supplied on demand, so avoiding any wastage. Suitable feed water is deionised, reverse osmosis or distilled quality. The still may be fed from a user's existing water source. Alternatively, the Cyclon deioniser is specially designed for use with the still.
A low water pressure adapter is available for use with feed water pressure between 0.35bar and 0.70bar (5psi to 10psi). Please contact Customer Service for information.
