Descrizione

Enhance the performance and extend the life of electrodes. Potassium Chloride Electrolyte Standard Solution, 3M, Chem-Lab is a filling solution for pH electrodes, containing 224g KCl per liter of water. It is used for proper electrode storage to maintain optimal electrode performance.

When not in use, the glass tip of an electrode should be kept wet to avoid dehydration of the pH sensing membrane, which erodes the reaction time of the electrode. Electrodes are best stored with the tip immersed in the bridge electrolyte (KCl 3M). Most electrodes have a protective cap that can be filled with this solution before placing.
