Fixed-cost planned maintenance for Fisherbrand biosafety cabinets, including KI Discus test where required by national regulations.

  • In accordance with the European Standard for microbiological safety cabinets (CEN BS EN12469:2000, Table 5), the KI Discus test is identified as an optional test for operator/personal protection.
  • Applies to both commissioning and annual routine maintenance testing.
  • National regulations must be followed in all cases.
  • Some national regulations, such as those from the HSE (UK), recommend performing the KI Discus test at least annually.
