General Description

• Flurbiprofen is composed of a 2-fluoro-[1,1'-biphenyl-4-yl] moiety attached to propionic acid

• Flurbiprofen works by inhibiting prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase and reducing the production of prostaglandins and pyrogens

Applications

• Flurbiprofen is useful for studying pathways associated with prostaglandin production

• It is suitable for laboratory research on pain, inflammation, ocular pressure, and postoperative recovery
