GeneMapper PG Software v1.0 is a probabilistic genotyping application that transforms complex DNA mixture interpretation. Using a continuous model running a deterministic mixture deconvolution algorithm, GeneMapper PG Software delivers intuitive, reproducible, and transparent results. It provides real-time explanations and visualizations to drive clarity and understanding during each DNA mixture analysis step.

GeneMapper PG Software v1.0 features

  • Compare profiles—compare profiles across your project
  • Number of contributors (NOC) estimation—perform straightforward analysis (maximum allele count (MAC) and total allele count (TAC)) and more advanced analyses, such as machine learning-based decision trees for accurate estimation
  • Deconvolution—a continuous model using a deterministic algorithm providing precise, reproducible mixture results
  • Likelihood ratio (LR) calculations and robustness analysis—support for simple to complex scenarios, including assumed contributors and multiple potential contributors, along with simulation analysis to evaluate significance of results

GeneMapper PG Software v1.0 offers seamless integration with GeneMapper ID-X Software v1.7 for easy transfer of data across your workflow. Additionally, multiple file types are supported, allowing broad compatibility with a variety of data sources. Compatible file formats include: .ser project files from GeneMapper ID-X Software, CODIS CMF files formats 3.2 and 3.3, and .csv and .txt file types. This versatility allows for efficient and comprehensive data management, enhancing the overall workflow and compatibility with existing systems.
