Spectrum™ Labs Hydrophilic Dialysis Tubing

An ultra high purity separation dialysis membrane. The Spectra/Por™ Cellulose Ester (CE) dialysis membranes offer an excellent Molecular Weight Cut Off (MWCO) selection for separation of ionic species as well as macromolecules. The advance manufacturing process provides CE dialysis membranes with an extremely high purity and features a biological inert surface to yield an optimum sample recovery. Symmetric tubular CE membranes are supplied in form of non-sterile, wet tubular membrane.
Chemical resistance
Variables in temperature, concentrations, durations of exposure and other factors may affect the use of the product. CE membranes are sensitive to organic solvents at concentrations exceeding 5% in water. Strong polar solvents such as acetone, Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) or Dioxane will irreparably damage the membranes. Lower alcohols such as Methanol, and Isopropanol can be used with CE membranes at short exposure or low concentrations.
