Indium chloride is a lewis acid catalyst in organic reactions such as Friedel-Crafts acylations and Diels-Alder reactions and it is used in high-performing solar cells such as optics and microelectronics. It applications finds in semiconductor technology, producing phosphor,low pressure sodium lamp and produce high purity chemicals.
