For the screening of patients previously infected, to either; confirm infection, monitor the course of disease, or to draw epidemiological conclusions. Includes all additional reagents required to perform each test.

  • The Microgen Bioproducts™ SARS-CoV-2 IgG EIA introduces a highly sensitive and specific assay for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies based on the nucleocapsid protein, usually detected two weeks after initial infection
  • The test is intended for the screening of patients previously infected, to either; confirm infection, monitor the course of disease, or to draw epidemiological conclusions
  • Each kit contains 480 reactions (5 x 96 well plates) and includes all additional reagents required to perform each test –alongside positive/negative controls. Sample types include human serum and plasma
  • Convenient 480 reaction format (5 x 96 well plates) including all plates and additional reagents to perform the assay
  • Compliant with The Medicines and Healthcare Product Regulatory Agency Ministry (MHRA) TPP
  • High Sensitivity and Specificity
  • Less than 1 hour 30 minutes incubation time
  • Functional with human plasma and serum samples
  • No cross-reactivity with common viral pathogens
  • Validated for manual application, however also suitable for high-throughput ELISA automation
  • Vital in the process of monitoring COVID-19 antibodies
