Descrizione

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Also known as: G6b; Ng31; C6orf25; AU023871
  • The G6b/C6orf25 insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
  • G6B is a member of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily and is located in the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class III region.
  • It is a glycosylated, plasma membrane-bound cell surface receptor, but soluble isoforms have been found in the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi before being secreted.
  • It is expressed mainly on the platelet lineage. Crosslinking of G6b inhibits agonist-stimulated platelet aggregation and activation.
  • Heparin interacts with the G6b extracellular domain with high-affinity.
