Descrizione

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Also known as: LOX-1; SR-EI; Scare1
  • OLR1 is a low density lipoprotein receptor that belongs to the C-type lectin superfamily.
  • It is regulated through the cyclic AMP signaling pathway. OLR1 binds, internalizes and degrades oxidized low-density lipoprotein.
  • It may be involved in the regulation of Fas-induced apoptosis and may play a role as a scavenger receptor.
  • Mutations of OLR1 have been associated with atherosclerosis, risk of myocardial infarction, and may modify the risk of Alzheimer's disease.
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
