Descrizione

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Also known as: Sstn; Synd; CD138; Synd1; syn-1; AA408134; AA409076
  • SDC1 is a type I transmembrane heparan sulfate proteoglycan and is a member of the syndecan proteoglycan family.
  • The syndecans mediate cell binding, cell signaling, and cytoskeletal organization.
  • Syndecan receptors are required for internalization of the HIV-1 tat protein.
  • SDC1 functions as an integral membrane protein and participates in cell proliferation, cell migration and cell-matrix interactions via its receptor for extracellular matrix proteins.
  • Altered SDC1 expression has been detected in several different tumor types.
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
