For Use With: Nalgene Rapid-Flow filter bottles with 45 mm necks, and Nunc Cell Factory System

Create aseptic handling solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and laboratory liquid transfer applications with Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ Top Works™ Flexible Systems for Nalgene Bottles, Carboys and Media. Modified closures included platinum-cured silicone stopper inserts and tubing. These leakproof systems offer more secure, aseptic handling of high-valued products compared to pouring, and they are available with various ports, tubing lengths and closure sizes.

  • Designed to mate with most Nalgene bottles and carboys

  • Includes long tubing lengths, both inside and outside the container to support intergration with most Nalgene bottles and carboys
  • Ready to accept additional fluid transfer components such as aseptic connectors and air vent filters

Compatible with:

GL45 closure system for Nalgene Rapid-Flow filter bottles with 45mm necks, along with Schott™, Corning™ and Wheaton™ media bottles. Additionally, 2135-5310 can be used with 140817, 2019-2000 and the Thermo Scientific™ Nunc™ Cell Factory™ System to create sterile, closed systems.

Recommended for:

Aseptic handling of various fluids in pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications.

Note: These tests, using other liquids, may not yield the same results. To ensure safe usage, customers are advised to test Thermo Scientific Nalgene bottles and closures under conditions of their planned applications. Thermo Scientific Nalgene products are leakproof at ambient temperature and pressure when used with their Nalgene closures.

† The term leakproof applies to Thermo Scientific Nalgene products that meet the following criteria: a) Bottle/flask/funnel closure systems with closures smaller than 100mm, after they are filled with water, inverted, withstand air pressure of 2psig for two minutes, and no water escapes;. b) Bottle/funnel/flask closure systems of larger than 100mm after they are filled with water, inverted for 15 minutes, and no water escapes.
