This synthetic oil has excellent chemical resistance

This synthetic oil has excellent chemical resistance. Therefore it is often used for pumping strong oxidants (halo-genides, nitrogen oxides, etc.). As this oil type must not be mixed with mineral oils, a pump intended for this oil should be built with it from the outset. For changeover of an existing pump to this oil the pump has to be completely disassembled, cleaned and refilled with perfluoropolyether oil at VACUUBRAND;PFPE oil type I for VACUUBRAND rotary vane pumps RE 2.5, RZ 2.5, RE 6, RZ 6;PFPE oil type II for all VACUUBRAND rotary vane pumps.
