  • GPCR Extraction and Stabilization Reagent is simple to use. The sample is first harvested, washed, and pelleted. Receptor is then extracted using the reagent, followed by centrifugation. The resulting whole cell lysate contains solubilized and stabilized receptors. The reagent has been tested for use with endogenous and overexpressed GPCRs, and receptor function has been verified by receptor ligand binding assays.
  • GPCRs are a large family of receptors with seven transmembrane domains that play a key role in transmitting signals across the cell membrane. They are effective drug targets for genetic and immune system disorders and serve as potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. One of the major challenges in GPCR research is the ability to efficiently extract the receptor from the membrane without compromising the structural and functional integrity of the protein.
  • GPCR Extraction and Stabilization Reagent encapsulates the receptor in a detergent micelle optimized to ensure receptor function for up to one week when stored at 4°C and one month when stored at -20°C post extraction, providing more flexibility for receptor analysis.
