POROS GoPure pre-packed columns are intended for the screening of POROS chromatography resins or for small scale purification.

These pre-packed columns are ready to connect and have the following features:

  • Packed with POROS chromatography resins that offer superior performance over a wide range of flow rates
  • 1-mL and 5-mL formats provide a uniform screening platform for process development
  • Convenient, ready-to-run columns that simplify and speed up POROS resin evaluations and enable small scale purification
  • Direct connection to standard chromatography systems using 1/16 in., 10-32 fittings

POROS Caprylate Mixed-Mode Chromatography Resin (Cat. No. A51051) is designed to remove moderate to high levels of aggregates during downstream processing of therapeutic antibodies in flow-through mode. As a mixed-mode, weak cation-exchange resin, POROS Caprylate resin effectively removes other impurities, such as host cell proteins and a wide range of high molecular weight species.

  • Excellent scalability and high productivity

POROS Caprylate Mixed-Mode resin operates in flow-through mode which helps reduce costs, especially when working with more engineered monoclonal antibody derivatives. The unique selectivity of the caprylate ligand contributes to a high yield of the targeted monomer while using established cation exchange resin buffer systems. POROS Caprylate Mixed-Mode resin is manufactured using a synthetic manufacturing process that is free of animal components.

  • Ligand: octanoic acid
  • Binding capacity: >20 g lysozyme/L resin
  • Typical buffers: typical cation exchange buffers, pH 4.5–7.0, conductivity 10–30 mS/cm
  • Clean-in-place: 0.5 M NaOH
  • Formulation buffer: 0.1 M NaOH
  • Mechanical resistance: 100 bar (10 MPa, 1450 psi)
