General Description

• Progesterone is a sex hormone required for suppression of estrogen signaling and is also involved in transcriptional activation

• Progesterone maintains the uterine endothelium and sustains pregnancy through suppression of muscle contractility

Applications

• Progesterone signaling is relevant to the study of breast cancer
