Descripción

Automated high-throughput plant and animal tissue homogenizer and cell lyser. SPEX CertiPrep™ Pulverizer and Cell Lyser 2010 Geno/Grinder accommodates a full range of sample vials or up to six deep-well titer plates.

  • Automated mechanical disruption through bead beating, ideal for high-throughput cell lysis applications.
  • Applications:
    • Isolation of nucleic acids (DNA/RNA), proteins, enzymes, bacteria and yeasts.
    • Extraction of pesticides and other low level residues from plant and animal samples.
    • Used in modified QuEChERS, SweET and other extraction methods.
  • Specifically designed for rapid cell disruption, lysis and tissue homogenization.
  • Designed for vigorous up-and-down shaking for quick and effective sample preparation (typically within 2 minutes) from deep-well titer plates, vial sets, and centrifuge tubes.
  • Programmable touch screen control panel for run time, rate, cycles and pause time.
  • Up to 500 protocols can be saved for recall.
  • Adjustable clamp with a release button that allows users to secure vials or titer plates of various sizes.
  • Safety interlock and pneumatic cylinder stabilize the lid for safe operation.
  • Horizontal clamp loading prevents sample spillage and eliminates cross-contamination.
  • Simple to set up and load - just load samples into the clamp, set speed and time and press the start button for quick and consistent sample preparation.
  • Optional Kryo-Tech™ accessories enable cryogenic grinding and preserve temperature sensitive samples for RNA and protein extractions.
