Sucrose Ultra Pure, ≥99%, White Crystals

  • It is used as a source of carbon in media and animal diet.
  • 8.5% (w/v) sucrose was used in dielectrophoretic field-flow fractionation (dFFF) that allows the rapid and convenient analysis of bulk cell suspensions.
  • Sucrose is a non-reducing disaccharide composed of glucose and fructose linked via their anomeric carbons.
  • It is obtained commercially from sugarcane, sugar beet, and other plants and used extensively as a food and a sweetener.
  • The mixture of glucose and fructose is known as invert sugar.
