Descrizione

Designed to help prevent needle stick injuries. BD™ Vacutainer™ Safety-Lok™ Blood Collection Set are sterile, closed systems for venous blood collection. Each versatile winged infusion set includes an irreversible safety mechanism that can be activated with one hand.

Safety-Lok™ blood collection sets are sterile, closed systems for venous blood collection. They can also be used for short-term infusions of up to two hours. These winged infusion sets include a hypodermic needle, color-coded wings, an integrated safety shield, small-bore tubing and a connector. Many also include a Luer adapter.

  • Safety mechanism protects against needle injuries following successful venipuncture
  • Safety shield pushes over the needle, surrounding it completely
  • Safety mechanism engages irreversibly with an audible click over the needle
  • Single-handed activation so attention remains focused on the patient and the puncture site
Note: This is a stand-alone needle. Does not come with the single-use holder (364815); must be purchased separately.
