Zinc powder is used in thermal spraying for corrosion protection and in the chemical industry. It is used as a fuel for model rockets with a mixture of 2.04 parts zinc to one part sulfur. It is used as protective pigment in industrial coatings, as a reducing agent and catalyst in a variety of chemical reactions.

Notes
Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Store under dry inert gas. It is sensitive to air and moisture. Incompatible with strong acids, strong bases and oxidizing agents.
