Invitrogen™ Ambion™ RNase T1 (cloned) 1000U/μL

Pure preparation suitable for RNA mapping studies and other less demanding uses but priced similarly to less purified preparations.

• RNase T1 (E.C. 3.1.27.3) is isolated from over-expressing E. coli strain containing the cloned Aspergillus oryzae gene
• Endonuclease that specifically cleaves 3' of G residues
• Supplied in one tube containing 100,000U (1000U/μL
• RNase T1 is rigorously tested for contaminating nonspecific endonuclease, exonuclease, and protease activity
• Unit Definition: 100 units of RNase T1 is amount of enzyme that yields an increase in absorption at 260nm of 0.01428 units per min. at room temperature using 60μg/mL yeast total RNA as a substrate

RNA-Grade RNase T1 (Mfr. No. AM2283) is also available for use in RNA structure/function experiments.
