Descrizione

Used to dissolve metals and their ores. Cyanide Standard Solution, Ion HIQU, Chem-Lab is comprised of 2.503g potassium cyanide per liter of water. The solution contains 1000μg/mL of CN- (±2μg, at -20°C).

Cyanide standard solution is used to dissolve metals and their ores. It is also used in clinical chemistry and in waste water treatment facilities to determine the concentration of dissolved and particulate materials. Potassium cyanide is highly toxic. In aqueous solution, KCN is dissociated into hydrated potassium (K+) ions and cyanide (CN−) ions.
