TeenFlex™ Adapter for FastPrep-96 holds 20 x 15 mL Lysing Matrix Tubes. Large sample volume adapter is suited for DNA and RNA isolation, enzyme isolation, protein production, natural products isolation, food preparation for quality analysis, biopharma manufacturing, and forensic applications.

  • Additionally, frozen samples in Lysing Matrix tubes loaded in the adapter and stored at -20°C or -80°C are ready to be immediately processed with minimal hands-on manipulation, preventing degradation of cellular components by endogenous enzymes.
  • Product Overview: With the FastPrep-96 Instrument, TeenFlex adapter and optimized Lysing Matrices, consistent reproducible results are obtained.
  • Product Description: Medium-scale adapter for the FastPrep-96™ that holds 20 x 15 mL Lysing Matrix Tubes (compatible with SafTest™ Food Inspection System.) It allows frozen samples in Lysing Matrix tubes loaded in the adapter and stored at -20°C or -80°C are ready to be immediately processed with minimal hands-on manipulation, preventing degradation of cellular components by endogenous enzymes. A wide range of disposable 15 mL Lysing Matrix tubes ensure thorough homogenization of any sample type in seconds.
  • Recommended Use: Use with FastPrep-96, MP Bio Lysing Matrix Tubes and/or FastPrep purification kits to lyse, grind or homogenize samples at ambient temperatures, for the extraction and purification of nucleic acids, proteins, metabolites and other small molecules and more.
