Panthera TEC POL state-of-the-art microscopes are designed for the inspection of all kinds of polarizing materials with birefringence and bireflection.

The Motic™ Panthera TEC POL models present high flexibility for the inspection of all kinds of polarizing materials, transparent samples and opaque specimens, from educational environments to industrial quality control. Even transparent birefringent structures from biology and medicine (heart muscle cells, secondary cell walls, etc.) can be detected by the Full Koehler illumination with exchangeable LED/halogen light source.

  • UC Plan Achromat objectives with focus on strain-free mounting for maximum darkness of image background
  • 3W LED incident light source can easily be changed to different color temperatures
  • Incident/transmitted stands additionally carry Full Koehler illumination with LED/halogen interchangeability
  • 360° rotatable stage for easy positioning of sample
  • Intermediate tube with focusable, centerable Bertrand lens is prepared for conoscopic analysis of crystals and mineral
  • 25° inclined Siedentopf type head with integrated camera
  • Widefield high eyepoint eyepieces UC-WF10X/22 mm with diopter adjustment and rubber eyecups
  • One eyepiece with crosshair reticle and positioning pivot
  • Intermediate body with rotatable analyzer 360°, Bertrand lens and slot for compensators
  • CCIS™ Plan achromatic Strain-free objectives UC 4X/0.1, 10X/0.25, 40X/0.65/S, 60X/0.8/S
  • Motic Light Tracer: Light memory, sleep mode, reversed coded quintuple nosepiece LED light intensity and mode indicator
  • HDMI output, USB for external devices, Ethernet and Wi-Fi
